Ultamently I was disappointed with this book. It could be 70% shorter with only the chapter summaries and the final 2 chapters being the real meat of the book. I found many grammatical errors, missing commas, periods, and a few misspelled words, etc... if you have to read this for family finance out of USU. I'm sorry.Product details

Todd Romer makes clear that achieving financial success takes much more than just understanding how to crunch numbers. He uses real-life examples and practical stories to show readers that money goals are much harder to reach if you don't have the right perspective. But what I love about the book most is that you can easily tell the author is the "real deal." He's experienced the highs and the lows so now we can learn from those successes and mistakes. Todd goes around the country every year helping people get their financial life in order. He could easily go work for a big corporation and make piles of money but instead he has a mission to make Americans prosper both financially and personally. He's already inspired thousands of people nationwide with his 5 Step Money Plan. I hope this book allows him the opportunity to reach many more.
Half of this book is literally him just trying to sell you on going to one of his LIVE! events with little story off-sides of people before and after his events that aren't super relevant to what's being covered. Additionally, some of the advice given in this book is just bad, especially when he encourages those that want to start their own company to join a direct sales force such as Amway or Avon. Nobody makes money off of those companies except the people at the top. You get one extra star for having some decent advice about investments, but I can't really recommend this book to anybody.
It's a good book explains a lot of money problems and how to solve my problems
I enjoyed how it specifically talked to young people. He gave very detailed information on finances. He also gave specific steps to take in order to reshape a strong money blue print.
Wonderful book! A great guide to help anyone of the upcoming generation to learn all about money matters. I'll be keeping it around for a frequent reread.
"YOUNG MONEY" gives real hope to young people today with how to think differently about money, how to save money in a different way, and how to invest money - the hard part! The book gave me specific action steps to take so that I could save, manage and invest money now for both me and my working kids so we can benefit later. I have not seen any books like this for the youth so that is why my college aged boys are enjoying it so much. They get it! Clear, easy to read, breath of fresh air.
This book is amazing! It was super engaging and I learned tons in a short period of time. I have always felt that financial success was either too hard or something for the future, but today I am confident that will small steps I can make a different in my life and work towards making a difference in others.
